British Columbia Fly Fishing Trips
We are committed to the preservation of B.C.ís delicate wilderness habitat. Our goal is to immerse our guests in B.C.ís vast natural beauty, which in turn supports eco-tourism as a viable, economic choice. Everything that comes in, goes out. There is no trace of us and our guests.
British Columbia Jet Boats
We have used jet boats in the past and have decided they are too destructive on this small river system. Jet boats cannot access the best fishing spots and the the huge carbon footprint the noisy machines were leaving on the river was unacceptable to us. We switched to environmentally friendly rafts were we can give the fisherman the true wilderness fishing experience they deserve. With as much as five times the catch rate of a jet boat that cannot access the best fishing areas, with the rafts you will hear the river and wildlife instead of the whine of a motor and smell of exhaust. The raft is used as a means of transportation down the river. You pull ashore at various points along the way and fish in waders (shallow wading). Depending on conditions, you may be dry-fly fishing for sighted fish, nymph fishing, using a combination of dry fly with nymph dropper.
BC Guided FishingYour guided fishing trip fro the Fly Fishing Lodge will take you into the best fly fishing waters the upper Pitt River has to offer, for spey and single hand. BC Photo SafariPitt River Valley and the surrounding area is one of the best locations for an adventurous photography trip! With spectacular rugged mountain peaks, glaciers, creeks, lakes, rivers, wildflowers, salmon runs and of course the wildlife...there are wonderful settings for world-class photography.

The wildlife in the valley includes: Black tail Deer, Elk, Mountain Goat, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Ptarmigan, Eagles, Osprey, Turkey Vultures Grouse, and more.
If you want to really focus your time with setting up shots and seeking out wildlife photos...our Photography Safari is the best way to go. We need a group of 4 for such a trip. The trip will include the expertise of a professional outdoor photographer who has a lot of experience in this area. He will help you with setting up amazing shots of the scenery, foliage and wildlife.
Contact us by email to discuss possible dates for our Photography Safari. September is the best month for these trips as the black bear and other wildlife are all active feeding on the salmon.
